The four things everyone asks first
Are there any codes?
No. The game has never had a code redemption system — there is no redeem box in the UI. Every "SDBR codes" list you'll find is copied filler. Why we're sure →
How do I make money fastest?
Smuggling across the border and laundering the briefcase is the main civilian loop — 37.0% of accounts have completed it at least once. Money printer guide →
How many teams are there?
Seven. Civilian, Border Patrol and Police are reported free*; FBI, US Army, SWAT and BORTAC are reported to need Robux*. Four have rank ladders — that part is API-verified. Compare all seven →
What's the rarest thing in the game?
The Federal Career badge — Tier III on every federal team. Just 351 accounts have it, out of 25.5 million. Full rarity table →

Choose your role
You make this choice in the first 60 seconds. Here's what each one actually plays like.
Civilian
Cross legally, or pack something you shouldn't. 62.1% of accounts have crossed legally; 52.0% have sold smuggled goods.
FREE*Border Patrol
Scan, approve, send to secondary — all three are badge-confirmed actions. Rank ladder to Chief of the Line.
FREE*Police
Arrests and pursuits are badge-confirmed. Rank ladder to Troop Commander, reached by 0.211%.
399 R$*FBI
Has a rank ladder topping out at Director — only 4,627 accounts have reached it.
919 R$*US Army
Rank ladder topping out at Captain, held by just 2,753 accounts.
599 R$*SWAT
No rank-ladder badge, unlike the other federal teams. What it changes in play is not something we have verified*.
399 R$*BORTAC
No rank-ladder badge either. Its role is community-described* and we have not tested it.
* The whole gamepass picture is unconfirmed, not just the numbers: which teams cost Robux, what each pass unlocks, and the prices themselves all come from Rolimons, because Roblox's gamepass endpoint returns an error for this universe. The free/paid split is community consensus, not something we have verified. The badge counts, player figures and rank ladders on this page are API-verified — see where our data comes from for exactly which is which.

Rarest badges
Award counts come straight from Roblox's badge API. Rarity is measured against the 25,533,070 accounts that have played since the badges were created.

Only one thing here is API-verified: the game's updated timestamp (2026-08-12), and the biweekly cadence, which the developers state in the official experience description. FAQ
Common questions
Does San Diego Border Roleplay have codes?
No. There is no code redemption box anywhere in the game, and the developers have never released promo codes. Sites listing "active codes" are recycling each other's filler. If that ever changes we'll say so here, with the date we verified it.
How many people play it?
The bar at the top of this page carries the current figure and the instant we fetched it — we deliberately do not repeat a player count anywhere else, because a number copied into prose goes stale while the live one moves on. It swings a long way across the day: we have recorded the same game at roughly 29,000 during the US night and roughly 49,000 in the same 24 hours. Treat any single reading, including ours, as a snapshot rather than "the" player count. Total visits passed 101 million since launch on 8 March 2026.
Which team makes the most money?
We don't have verified per-hour figures yet, so we're not going to invent them. What the badge data does show: 74.6% of accounts reach $10,000, 3.98% reach $100,000, and 0.403% reach $1,000,000 — so the curve gets steep fast whichever team you pick.
Is this wiki official?
No. It's a fan resource, not affiliated with the developers or Roblox Corporation. Everything factual here links to where it came from so you can check it yourself.
What's the fastest way to get a rare badge?
Rank badges are the realistic target — Chief of the Line on Border Patrol sits at 0.220% and only needs sustained checkpoint work. Federal Career (0.0014%) needs Tier III on every federal team. The federal teams are reported to be Robux-gated (community consensus, not API-confirmed), so it likely also means owning several paid passes.
